These little jewels of the seas are a delight and they are served in so many ways. Their taste, very authentic, reminding us of the ocean, often shunned by many, making them unique. Shrimp, squid, octopus, mussels, clams, scampi, lobster, etc., their texture is also very disctinctive and assigns them this fascinating ability to change it’s form simply by cooking it. The rather robust octopus, pre-cooking, becomes softer and tender once past the grill. We sautéed them, we serve them raw, we fry them, grill them, simmers them, coat them. Everything is possible! From one corner to another of the globe, we consume these ocean gems with happiness!
