Indonesian cuisine distinguishes traditional recipes from regions from which they come: Javanese, Sundanese, Balinese, etc. However, we find in all these areas many kinds of cooking, among others: boiled, fried, sautéed, roasted and the typical cooking of the country which is to steam cook in a banana leaf.
